Welcome to Columbus Airport, the fourth-largest airport in the state of Georgia, located in the second-largest city in the state and serving thousands of passengers annually throughout our region.

Columbus Airport makes it quick and easy for passengers to connect from one destination to anywhere in the world. Located 15 minutes from Fort Benning National Infantry Base, the airport also offers convenient transportation to Uptown Columbus through a variety of ground transportation options, including ride-share services.

Since 1941, Columbus Airport has served business and leisure travelers throughout Columbus and surrounding communities, providing convenient connections to regional and international destinations. As the Columbus Airport Director, I invite you to take advantage of the services, convenience, and commitment we proudly offer.

As a smaller airport compared to those in larger cities, we provide faster, more personalized service—giving you more time to focus on your trip and less time spent navigating traffic and terminals. Most importantly, travelers departing from Columbus Airport only need to go through the security checkpoint and check their bags once, creating a smoother and more efficient travel experience.
