Administrative Coordinator
Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Columbus Airport. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth administrative operations, supporting our commitment to quality service and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Manage the Director’s calendar, appointments, and travel logistics.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, agendas, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Screen communications and respond on behalf of the Director when appropriate.
Communication and Liaison:
- Assist in preparing agendas, materials, and presentations for commission meetings.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure compliance with public meeting regulations.
- Record minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Property and Hangar Lease Administration
- Oversee hangar lease and airport property matters, ensuring compliance with airport minimum standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support tenant relations and assist in resolving routine operational concerns.
Project Support:
- Assist with airport projects – including construction, improvement initiatives, and community programs – by tracking timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Support cross-functional collaboration by gathering data, coordinating activities, and preparing reports.
Compliance:
- Ensure all administrative functions and airport activities comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and participate in audits or reviews as needed.
Office Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Director’s office, including office supplies, equipment, and facility management.
- Handle routine bookkeeping, accounting, and procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate filing systems to ensure efficient access to records.
- Manage confidential information with integrity, including financial and personnel data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, or a related field required.
- Certified Member (C.M.) designation highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative, aviation, or customer service setting is beneficial but not required; relevant experience gained through internships will be considered.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to provide courteous, responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Proven professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.63 – $24.03 per hour
