DBE (DISADVANTAGE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE) PROGRAM

DBE’s are for-profit small business concerns where socially and economically disadvantaged individuals own at least a 51% interest and also control management and daily business operations. To participate in the DBE program, a small business owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals must receive DBE certification from the relevant state.

The Columbus Airport Commission is currently accepting sealed proposals from qualified Proposers to Consolidate all Ready-Return operations to a single location, Increase the size of the existing Ready-Return lot by approximately 23 vehicles, Extend a canopy into the Ready-Return Lot, to provide for increased customer comfort, Provide lighting improvements & Provide temporary facilities for concessionaire use during construction. Pre Bid Conference to be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2 p.m.

BID: TERMINAL RENOVATION PROGRAM

The Columbus Airport Commission is currently accepting bids from qualified Proposers to undertake a renovation program of the passenger terminal facility at the Columbus Airport. The rehabilitation is comprised of the area within the existing terminal building. Significant renovations will include a majority of the public spaces but do not include the existing FAA tower interior or exterior, FAA ancillary spaces, the Columbus Airport Administration offices or other buildings on the property. The scope for the construction phase is based on a 14 month construction period. Construction phasing, temporary facilities, temporary walls and maintenance of traffic will be required to keep the terminal operational at all times.
The intent of this renovation is to replace a majority of the building systems infrastructure. Pre Bid Conference to be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.
